Texas Renewables-The Unified Energy System-Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop

Mon, 10 Dec 2012 - Thu, 13 Dec 2012

                                The Unified Energy System

Produced by co-chairs Roger Duncan and Michael Osborne, this event will feature the innovators and drivers of renewable energy in Texas.

TREIA invites you to join some of our country's and state's top renewable energy thought leaders for what promises to be an enlightening and energizing conference experience. Texas Renewables 2012 will explore the issues that are critical in the ongoing effort to achieve greater national energy self reliance and assurance of Texas electric resource adequacy and reliability.
The election will be a month behind us, giving speakers time to contemplate its implications. Expect insights from our presenters on the new business and political climate. They will explore how renewables can thrive in a purported "all of the above" energy policy future; revisit the drivers of the renewable energy movement; present expectations for the upcoming Texas legislative session; and analyze the latest technologies and how they are changing the template of electricity generation, delivery and demand.
Themed "Renewable Energy and the Unified Energy System," Texas Renewables 2012 will host the state's renewable energy and utility industries, government and non-profit sectors to discuss the most critical issues of our times. A healthier, more sustainable and secure energy future is something to strive for. At Lost Pines Resort in December, we will be working to that end, offering a venue for all sectors to hit the reset button and find a positive direction regardless the climate handed us.
