The DFW SOLAR HOME TOUR - October 5, 2013
The DFW Solar Home Tour is slated to include up to 30 sites this year, stretching from Red Oak to Denton and Weatherford to Rawlett! It will include homes, libraries schools and Texas Parks and Wildlife installation at Cedar Hill!
THE HILL COUNTRY SOLAR TOUR -October 12, 2013
The third Hill Country Solar Tour, a collaboration of Pedernales Electric Co-op and TXSES, will include five projects: from the Oak Hill area, out 290 West, and on down to Blanco. Meet at the PEC Oak Hill office from 9:00-11:00 for Cathy Redson's popular Solar 101, Larry Howe's presentation on Solarize Plano's successful residential group purchase program and a model solar car workshop for kids.The free self-guided tour is from 11:00-3:30 and will include installations of solar PV, solar thermal, rooftop, ground mount, grid tied and off the grid arrays.
