Our December meeting will give everyone a chance to see the real thing in actual use! Solar electricity. Rainwater capture. Energy efficient lighting and air conditioning. Ground-source heat pumps. All this and more! The Botanical Research Institute facilites are the first "LEED Platinum" building in Tarrant County, and one of just a few in the entire state. Invite a friend .. and bring your camera!
Our December meeting is part of NTREG's ongoing series of member-driven presentations, where at each meeting, attendees select topics for future meetings.
January, 2012
Want to help lead and organize the North Texas Renewable Energy Group? NTREG's Executive Committee positions are all open for elections in January. Positions include: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Program Co-coordinator (two), Membership Coordinator, and our Volunteer Coordinator. You do not have to know anything about solar energy to volunteer. We need people with a few hours to spare each month, an interest in renewable energy & energy conservation, and likes working with people. Successful candidates will have an incredible opportunity to particpate in a variety of educational and solar energy events.
If you'd like to help, or would like to nominate someone for office, please contact any member of our present Executive Committee listed on our "
Contact Us" page.
