March's meeeting will also highlight the debut of the "Solar Shuttle", a fully self-contained solar electric power system that's scheduled to power a variety of events in the D/FW area in the coming weeks. The Solar Shuttle is equipped with more than 2,100 watts of solar modules, 1,000 lbs of batteries, and 12,000 watts of Exeltech sine-wave inverters. Would you like to see a fully functional high-power photovoltaic system up close? Join us at our March meeting!

Public Solar Energy Demonstration.

Where: Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy Street, Fort Worth, Texas
This event will be similar to what we do at Mayfest. Solar cooking, solar hot water, solar electricity, and more. Volunteers are needed! This is an ideal opportunity for newcomers to NTREG, even if you've never worked at an event! Contact any member of our Executive Committee if you'd like to help!

The Recreation Center's address is on Kinwest Parkway, but you'll need to enter the parking lot from Regent Boulevard. You can access the parking lot from either direction on Regent Blvd. There's ample parking. Handicapped parking places are near the front doors of the building. After parking, go into the building through the Main Entry (the doors facing the parking lot). Enter the lobby and walk past the Information Desk. The Multi-Purpose Room will be directly ahead.
