Study conducted by the United States Environmental Protection Agency showing the value of a home increases anywhere from $10 to $25 for every $1 reduction in annual fuel bills resulting from energy efficiency
steps or the installation of solar energy equipment.

Regression analyses were remarkably consistent, indicating that home value increases by about $20 for every $1 reduction in annual utility bills.
